The Appy Award winning Y-MVP app is a collection of fitness challenges to help users get greater amounts of moderate to vigorous physical activity. It began as a kiosk-based application for check-in and a physical deck of cards of target exercises.
With only one kiosk in each YMCA, student engagement was limited and the physical cards kept no record of completion or performance. This app supports the following features:
Build customized workout playlists choosing from 150+ cardio, strength, cross-training and flexibility activities
Set personal goals, track time, and record workout playlists
On-screen instruction and a range of intensity and duration levels
